Loretta - is a psychological thriller that makes the player an accessory to the heroine’s crimes, leading her through a self-crafted nightmare. Loretta’s story revolves around a woman handling betrayal, her husband’s infidelity, and reclaiming her agency during the socially tumultuous 1940s.
Story
The year is 1947. Lora and Walter Harris move to a farm, which used to belong to his parents. Walter is a writer and Lora is a housewife. Both are quite unsuccessful.
The family is going through financial difficulties. The situation is also complicated by the fact that Walter owes money to people from New York. And although the husband keeps it a secret from his wife, Lora has a suspicion. Moreover, she suspects him of cheating.
Lora understands that she gave up her job, her dreams and other opportunities for her failure of a husband she doesn’t even love. Now she is stuck in a cold empty house barely making ends meet.
As she struggles to make loan payments, she finds out that Walter’s publishing house has insured his life. In the event of his death, the insurance sum would be 30.000$. A plan is born in Lora’s mind.

this might be one of my favorite true crime adventures I have ever played! Normally I get bored around hour 2 of narrative games, but this one had me stuck to the monitor. Thanks for the awesome story, I kinda wish i just nicked em all tho :)

Random thought but the game really reminds me of Carrie. I love it, waiting to see what's next for this game! ♡
I really love the style of the game and found it very intriguing the mulitple "murder weapons" around the house. The puzzles/minigames I found was difficult to understand at first and took me a couple of times to even understand what to do. I will also say that at the gas station I was confused becuase I had no clue what to do before I realized "press A or D to move".
I am excited to see how the game will progress as I really found it interesting and love the mulitple "endings".
The story was very interesting, just like a movie. Very much looking forward to more!

Full Demo No Commentary
I enjoyed the game but it would have been helpful in certain puzzle areas to know what you're doing as it was at first confusing. Also you may want to edit out the copyrighted music clip Charmaine as currently you cannot claim full creatorship for your game or perhaps won't be able to gain money for it either also folks on youtube can't gain any money either from ads playing due to this copyrighted music that you added. Just a heads up.
But otherwise you've created a very interesting game that reads like a novel that transported me to the hard, gritty land and time of the era. And I began to really feel for Loretta and wanted her life to be better and I am happy to see that we have choices to change the course. I love how you also brought in a bit of horror fantasy to the game also. This is story I can't wait for you to finish!
I am excited for this game to be released/finished. I just love the overall concept and aspect of the game. I way that the demo is laid out makes you wonder how and what made Loretta this way, yeah it gives you a glimpse but I feel like there is more to the story than what is depicted. I really want to see how the story plays out. I highly recommend others to play the game!

I was able to get quite a few endings and i'd LOVE to see how other people dealt with the detective! Play this visual novel game and discover what happened in LORETTA!

This is fantastic! It's like a horror murder mystery with different outcomes depends on your choice. I only came back to read the game description after my playthrough and found out there's more to this story looks like. Will wait for the full version!
